Festivals are always restricted to the regional level. Depending on the interests and beliefs of the people of a particular religion or region these festivals keep changing. Festivals carry their own theme and again as we stated earlier it is subjective in nature. But irrespective of the religious and the regional borders if there is one theme in which all of us get to celebrate at least one festival, then it is the festival of lights. Aomori Nebuta Matsuri:

Aomori Nebuta Matsuri is a Japanese festival that is celebrated during the month of August, between 2nd and 7th of the month. This festival is such a visual treat to the people who are there to watch the event unfold. The week goes colourful, and the whole Japanese civilians are out to celebrate this festival. It is a summer festival, and it is based on the mythological Gods of the country.

St. Martin’s Day:

The St. Martin’s day is such a cute festival that takes place in Holland. It is a children’s festival and it quite similar to the Halloween festival that takes places in America. During this event, we can see children walking on the streets of Holland with pretty and colourful lanterns. They also move in groups singing songs and collecting chocolates in the neighbourhood.
